Mindful Kids and Parents

In this age of social media and digital video everything, how can parents help kids to connect with their living reality from moment to moment?  Through embodied mindfulness practices, geared to each developmental stage, children can be freer from the influences of the media and more connected to their bodies and inner knowing.  Mindfulness also improves concentration, increases creativity, and reduces emotional reactivity.  For parents, the same benefits from mindfulness help us to parent as we really want to, instead of reacting by impulse to each momentary challenge.
