growth and integrity in our later years
I occasionally offer classes specifically geared toward older people and their developmental challenges. After about age 65 years, we begin to reflect back on our lives and consider what we have achieved and what has been left undone. This is a process associated with what Erik Erikson called the stage of "Integrity vs Despair." Will we be bitter and unhappy at the end of out lives? Or will we find joy in wisdom and maturity? These special classes help support the development of joy and wisdom as we age.
